Whole30 kickoff

Alright, So im doing The whole30 challenge this month and am really excited. I’m sort of thinking of it as a one month cleanse. I’m not only taking the month to fuel my body with pure, whole, unprocessed foods, but I am also going to take more rest time and try new things, get a full night’s sleep and just take care of myself. I coach and compete in crossfit, so lowering my intensity for a month is going to be TOUGH, but I’m excited to do a little self experimentation and see how my body responds. Here are some of the details of what I’ll be doing this month, check it out and feel free to join me!

I tried this in January and did not make it through the first week. Did not have any energy. It is hard to do Crossfit and start this plan. You are smart to take it easy for the month and just let it reset your body. Thinking on trying it again one day. Can’t wait to see how you look and feel throughout the 30 days. Good luck on your Whole 30!!!

A great way to kick of June! Thanks again for the inspiration! I will commit to eating CLEAN this month and look forward to feeling great running and riding some more races. Speaking of riding, do you have a road bike? If not, get one and let’s go ride! May Paleo Power be yours this next 30!

I’m ready to follow your 30-day challenge! I will not be going total paleo..as I still consume whole milk dairy and some peanut butter, but I love seeing what other primal/paleo peeps eat! Gives me great ideas, for sure. It also keeps me in check. Sometimes I worry that I am not eating enough, or eating too much when it comes to a grain-free diet. I am still fairly new to this way of eating, but it’s been great thus far!

  4. Good luck with this! My problem would be the legumes – I love my burritos and curry lentils… you have got me thinking of trying this for 30 days.

If that’s your before photo, I can’t wait to see your after photo.
